All the products are handcrafted from a blend of antique and new 'rough' materials to create a timeworn look. The antique materials are recycled from old barns and farmhouses. They are carefully selected for strength and durability, then treated, planed, and sanded in order to recover their original beauty. Because each piece is hand made from start to finish, no two pieces are identical. Please expect slight variances that exemplify the creativity in the process that makes every piece unique.This collection includes hutches, cabinets, chests, end tables, entertainment centers, dressers and decorative shutters and panels, as well as numerous other unique pieces. The hand painting or carving that decorates this furniture portrays fish, flowers, herbs, animals and many other choices. From this collection, you can select a theme of choice and pick from numerous decorations or furniture to fill a room unlike any other. Custom painting is available for all products. The following colors are available: country red, deep burgundy, federal blue, wickham green, concord green, sage green, cream, country white, bright white, khaki, pale yellow, mushroom and mustard. After they are painted, all products are distressed and then hand-rubbed with a finish wax for maximum protection. All hardware in the Cottage Collection is antique.
